The text of the statement is as follows:
In the name of God
Unfortunately, the cases of execution of detainees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continue, especially among the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, which deepens their wounds and creates a dangerous precedent in not respecting the rights of prisoners, the accused and convicted.
Expressing sympathy with the families of the deceased, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly calls for the protection of the rights of all citizens and granting legal and human freedoms; Among the freedom of belief, following and practicing religious and divine rules based on their religion, and performing their rites, rituals and ceremonies.
The World Assembly of AhlulBayt (a.s.) calls for a fair trial, guaranteeing the rights of the detainees not to be pressured, granting a fair access to a lawyer and a punishment commensurate with the crime (if the accused have really committed a crime) and not issuing arbitrary sentences, which according to some reports are applied contrary to legal standards and human rights.
The sympathizers of preserving the unity of the Islamic Ummah and returning its glory in achieving progress and prosperity are of the opinion that these actions are contrary to the sanctity of location of Qibla for Muslims, the land of revelation and the tomb of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and it is not coordinated with the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the development process that is being promoted and requires reconciliation, stability and improvement of the country's image.
AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly demands the world community, the Arab and Islamic countries and the allies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to fulfill the duty of brotherhood and friendship in this regard and to act on the great interests of Islam, the principles of unity, brotherhood and the common destiny of the nation and the region, and Urgently ask the officials of the country of the Two Holy Mosques to stop the execution of death sentences and act in such a way as to preserve the basic human rights and freedom, and ensure happiness and victory in this world and the hereafter.
AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly
