AhlulBayt News Agency: Over 100 Seminary students from different African countries were honoured to visit Imam Ali Shrine (PBUH), accompanied by an official delegation from the Centre for African Studies of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
The head of the public relations department at the Holy Shrine, Sahib al-Busaisi, said, " Within the cooperation bonding plans between Imam Ali Shrine and other Shrines, approximately 100 Hawzah students were hosted to conduct a tour at the sanctuary's historical and archaeological landmarks and visited Lady Fatima's courtyard and the expansion project established by the Shrine."
Sheikh Shaaban Adam from Ghana, the representative of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine at the Centre for Studies, stated that "the delegation included students of religious studies (seminary school) who are here for the first time under the auspices of the Centre, and they decided that their first step would be to the Shrine of Imam Ali."
He concluded, "The students came from several African countries, most notably (Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso) and there will be other programs to come.
