AhlulBayt News Agency: Representative of the Leader in Hajj affairs has underlined “Islamic convergence” and “civilization-building” as priorities of Hajj 2023.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab, referred to the outcomes of the resumption of ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia and stressed the agreement should be fruitful for both countries.
According to the cleric the number of Iranian pilgrims is less in comparison with the last Hajj pilgrimage before the pandemic since the ratio is decided based on the population of each country.
Representative of the Leader in Hajj affairs referred to Qur’an-based reform, Islamic convergence and support for holy Quds as the three slogans for Hajj 2023.
“In a meeting of Hajj executives with the Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei recommended building civilizational and extraterritorial relations with Muslims from other countries”, noted Hujjat-ul-Islam Navvab.
Top cleric stressed building relations with Muslims from other countries among the priorities of Hajj in previous years and noted,” Islamic convergence and connecting with pilgrims from other countries, with the objective of building civilization is top on our agenda”.
