AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A day-long training program for the selected Hajj pilgrims was held in Doda, the Indian-administered Kashmir.
Organized by the District Administration Doda at Astan Masjid Sharif on Tuesday, it was about Manasik-e-Hajj (Hajj rituals).
More than 170 pilgrims attended the training session and total of 375 pilgrims were imparted training across Doda.
The Hajj pilgrims were imparted practical training and information in detail about the Hajj rituals as well as logistic support.
The trainers gave thorough information to the pilgrims with regard to boarding, lodging, accommodation, currency exchange and other activities to be performed during the pilgrimage. They were also briefed about important documents and luggage to be carried along.
Meanwhile, the Hajj pilgrims expressed gratitude to the officials for the cooperation and effective management to ensure a smooth pilgrimage for them.
Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.
