The text of Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamdani's condolence message following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani is as follows:
In the name of God
The sad martyrdom of the late Hujjat al-Islam Mr. Haj Sheikh Abbas Ali Soleimani (may God have mercy on his soul) caused eternal felicity for the deceased; But our revolutionary society was deprived of the existence of a serving, worthy and effective element, which caused an impact throughout his life.
My familiarity with this character dates back to before the victory of the Islamic revolution and after that I was aware of his lasting services in Mazandaran province, Kashan and especially in Zahedan city, where he was able to pursue the goals of the Islamic system with reason and knowledge.
While condemning this crime, I congratulate and condole his martyrdom to the honorable nation and Islamic seminaries, especially the people of Mazandaran and Sistan and Baluchistan, and their respected families, and I ask God Almighty to rest his soul.
