AhlulBayt News Agency: The general secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) opened the Gate of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him), in the presence of the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dea-Uddin.
The secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dea'-Uddin, praised this architectural achievement, which is added to the series of projects of the Imam Ali's (p) Shrine to add an aesthetic aspect on the one hand, and to preserve the urban fabric of the Imam Ali's (p) holy shrine on the other.
The gate of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him) was unveiled in conjunction with the tragedy of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi' (peace be upon them), which is located on the eastern side of the Holy Courtyard, historically known as the (Clock Gate), after Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and gilding in the architectural style of the holy shrine.
The opening ceremony witnessed the screening of a documentary film explaining the maintenance and rehabilitation works carried out on the Gate of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him), which represents the main entrance to the Holy Courtyard from the eastern side.
