AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Leaders of the Muslim nations of Oman, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have congratulated Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the Iranian nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In separate messages delivered on Saturday, Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressed their best wishes to President Raisi and the Iranian nation on Eid al-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
In his congratulatory note, Sultan bin Tarik wished the Islamic nation of Iran “goodness, blessings and happiness” on the auspicious occasion.
President Mirziyoyev also offered his congratulations to the Iranian nation and thanked President Raisi for his “unparalleled” efforts to “elevate relations between the two friendly countries of Uzbekistan and Iran".
“I am fully confident that with joint efforts, we can expand our versatile relations more than ever before,” he stated.
Many world leaders separately congratulated President Raisi on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr on Friday and Saturday.
The Iranian president also sent separate messages to Muslim leaders on Saturday, offering his congratulations and urging more unity and cooperation within the Islamic world.
In accordance with Islamic teachings, Eid al-Fitr, the first day of the lunar month of Shawwal, holds great significance for Muslims worldwide. They perform mass prayers to mark the occasion and offer their gratitude to God, following a month of fasting and spiritual reflection during Ramadan.
