AhlulBayt News Agency: Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has issued a message to express condolence over passing of Mufti Abdul Shakoor Sardar Khan, the religious affairs minister of Pakistan.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his message hailed the late Pakistani scholar for his constant efforts to promote Islamic unity and proximity of Islamic denominations.
Top Iranian cleric in his message said,” The counter-arrogance moral, his support for the Palestinians and opposition with the Israeli regime were constantly on the mind of late Abdul Shakoor Sardarkhan.”
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought offered condolence for the Pakistani nation and government and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of the late scholar. Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor Sardar Khan passed away in a road accident in the capital Islamabad on Saturday.
A veteran lawmaker from the mainstream religious party Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl, Mufti Abdul Shakoor Sardar Khan was elected as a member of the lower house – the National Assembly – in the 2018 general elections.
