AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): As many as 89,000 Iranian pilgrims will attend this year’s annual Hajj which will be sent to Saudi Arabia by Iranian flag carrier Iran Air, according to an Iran Air spokesman.
The Iranian pilgrims will go to Hajj from 21 airports across the country, Hesam Qorbanali told IRNA economic correspondent on Saturday.
He said that some 387 flights will carry the Iranian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia as of May 24, 2023.
Qorbanali added that Iran Air has allocated 387 flights to the return of the pilgrims which will take the Iranian pilgrims back home by July 25.
Tens of thousands of Muslims gather together from all across the world each year in the holy city of Mecca to perform Hajj pilgrimage.
