AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the last Friday of Ramadan, the People of Kenya joined their brothers around the world to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians on International Quds Day. The main event was held in Nairobi by the Kenya Palestine Solidarity Group.
The event featured activities from the CPK Communist Party of Kenya, Githurai Social Justice, and other individuals who support the Palestinian cause.
A similar event was held in Nakuru town where Muslim organizations held a seminar to discuss the Palestine crisis and its impact on the people.
Despite government restrictions, Kenyan activists did their best to stand with the rest of the world on this day.
The theme for the day was "Palestine will be free," and everyone took an oath to stand against oppression in Palestine and any other place in the world.
In addition to the events in Nairobi and Nakuru, there were also similar events held in other parts of the country.
These events were organized by various groups and individuals who came together to show their support for the Palestinian cause.
The Quds Day events in Kenya have not only been a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people but also a call to action for the Kenyan government to take a stand against the oppression of the Palestinian people.
These events remind us that the struggle for justice and freedom is a global struggle and we all have a role in it.
It is inspiring to see Kenyans coming together to support the Palestinian people despite the challenges posed by the government restrictions. The events indicate the power of unity and solidarity in the fight for justice and freedom.
