AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Secretary general of World Forum for Islamic Awakening emphasized that today Palestine issue is not a regional, Arab, or even Islamic world concern, but the shared concern of world freedom lovers.
Ali Akbar Velayati in a statement on the occasion of the International Quds Day called on the brave Iranian nation to have a broad presence in this year's Quds Day nationwide rallies in Iran and the world.
"Today, the Palestine issue is not a region, Arabic, or even Islamic world concern, but the shared concern of world freedom lovers," wrote Velayati.
It added that on the last Friday of the Holy fasting month of Ramadan the world is witness to the solid movement of the Islamic Ummah, as well as the freedom lovers all over the world, which was founded by the farsighted and timely move of the sagacious founder of the Islamic Revolution, late Imam Khomeini, to turn the Palestine issue and the first Qibla of world Muslim in Holy Quds to the top concern of the Islamic world and the other world nations.
"The deep effect of this approach on the mentality and the resistance of the Muslims is seen today in shape taking of a new wave of Islamic awareness all over the world, and the evermore stronger Islamic solidarity against the share front of the global oppression and the Zionists, by grace of God, and in favor of the region's entire oppressed nations," the statement further said.
