AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Thousands of people have gathered in the largest Palestinian refugee community in Syria to mark International Quds Day, with people of all ages chanting slogans to show support for the Palestinian people, who have been abandoned by the international community to their dire fate.
Here at the al-Yarmuk refugee camp, demonstrators seem to have only one thing in mind: the Palestinian struggle for liberation.
Palestinian factions, based in Syria, also joined the rallies by staging military parades around the camp. They assured everyone that despite the silence and inaction of the international community regarding Israeli crimes, resistance against the occupiers would not flag.
The Al-Yarmuk refugee camp symbolizes Palestinians’ return to their homeland as people here have been forcibly displaced twice, once in the early days of occupation and a second time in 2018 which took place at the hands of Israeli-backed terrorists in Syria.
