AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the President expressed deep concern over the recent developments in Palestine and condemned the crimes of the Zionist Regime, especially insulting the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and expressed hope that the Islamic countries would prevent the continuation of the Zionist atrocities by forming a united front.
Speaking in a phone call with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday afternoon, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed deep concern over the recent developments in Palestine and condemned the crimes of the Zionist Regime, especially insulting the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and expressed hope that the Islamic countries would prevent the continuation of the Zionist atrocities by forming a united front.
In another part of this telephone conversation, the President expressed hope that these relations will develop even further, especially in the economic and energy fields, referring to the friendly and long-standing relations between the two countries, and said, "The policy of strengthening relations with neighbours and developing relations with Islamic countries is one of the main approaches of the 13th Administration".
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, condemned the criminal actions of the Zionist Regime in recent days, and called Pakistan the permanent defender of the oppressed Palestinian people, and expressed hope that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation would prevent the continuation of Zionist crimes by creating a united front.
Shehbaz Sharif also emphasised his country's interest in strengthening Tehran-Islamabad relations, and referred to Iran's privileged position in the region and the importance of expanding Islamabad's relations with Tehran, and by reviewing economic cooperation projects, emphasised his country's readiness to implement them.
