Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has referred to an internal political and social crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories as a sign that the downfall of the Zionist regime of Israel will be much more imminent than expected.
Making speech on the occasion of the Qadr Night in Tehran late on Tuesday, Raisi said that Zionists are fighting each other and they are in a hurry to destroy themselves.
The Iranian president also referred to a statement made by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei several years ago which indicated that the Zionist regime will cease to exist a quarter of century from then.
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated earlier this month that protests and political infighting in the occupied territories was a sign of the imminent downfall of the Zionist regime.
Recent raids by Zionist troops on the al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Palestinian city of Quds has led to arrests for hundreds of Palestinians. Iran has urged all Muslims around the globe to take part in this year’s International Quds Day to show support for the Palestinians in their fights against the occupiers.
“We will carry out our political and spiritual duty on the Quds day,” said Raisi.
