AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has told his Azerbaijani counterpart that enemies are the only ones to benefit from disputes among regional countries.
Amirabdollahian and Jeyhun Bayramov held two phone conversations on Saturday and Friday, discussing in detail the latest developments regarding relations between the two countries as well as some regional issues.
The top Iranian diplomat referred to the Zionist regime’s plots against integrity, security and development of the regional countries, saying that enemies are the only parties to benefit from disputes among regional nations.
In their phone talks, Amirabdollahian and Bayramov discussed problems and misunderstandings between their countries, and exchanged views on ways out of the current situation.
The two sides stressed the importance of mutual respect for good neighborliness as well as sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country.
They also emphasized the need for managing media environment in line with protecting the interests of the two countries.
