AhlulBayt News Agency: Tens of thousands performed the third Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan at the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied al-Quds, amid tight Israeli restrictions.
The Islamic Endowment Department reported that 130,000 worshipers performed the Friday prayer in the holy site despite the Israeli restrictions imposed at the gates and entrances of the Old City.
The Israeli police forces set up dozens of roadblocks, conducted extensive searches and checks on Palestinians and their ID cards, and prevented many of them from reaching the holy Islamic site.
2,300 Israeli police forces were deployed throughout Occupied al-Aqsa since the early morning hours.
Since the start of the holy month of Ramadan, Israel has tightened restrictions on entry of the Palestinian worshipers into the Mosque.
