AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Iraqi parliament plans to soon consider the assassination case of the triumphant commanders, top general Qassem Soleimani and Deputy Chief of Iraq's popular forces Hashd al-Shaabi Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
A member of the Iraqi parliament and head of al-Sadiqun Hassan Salem said on Saturday that the assassination case of triumphant commanders would soon be presented to the parliament, and called on the government to send the results of the assassination investigations of martyrs hajj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis along with 8 other of their companion warriors to the parliament.
Referring to the necessity of condemning the terror attacks, he added that the assassination case of triumphant commanders will be considered again inside the Iraqi Parliament to complete the case and declare the perpetrators of the crime and to question them in accordance with the current laws.
Martyred Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Deputy Chief of Iraq's popular forces, Hashd al-Shaabi Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis along with 8 other of their companion warriors who were on an official visit to Iraq at the invitation of the Iraqi government were martyred on January 3, 2020, by the US drones under the direct command of the then US president, Donald Trump.
