Three shrine replicas of Imam Hussain, Imam Ali and Hazrat Abbas (Peace Be Upon Them) were constructed by The King of Mahmudabad in Love and Devotions of Ahl-E-Bait (A.S.) in the nineteenth century in Mahmudabad of India — however, replicas of the Dargah and shrines have been built all over the world. Because distance and economical issues made it difficult to travel to Karbala, the Dargah allowed people to pay their respect and reflects how people wanted to live in the shadow of the Imams. Mahmudabad, also known as Mahmudabad Awadh is a town and a municipal board in Sitapur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. These shrines have their great architectural value and xerox copies of Real shrines situated in Iraq. Zaireen come here from all over India.
