AhlulBayt News Agency: The funeral prayer of well-known Pakistani Shia scholar, late Syed Saqib Akbar Naqvi, was performed and buried amid sighs and sobs.
According to the details, the funeral prayer of the late Syed Saqib Akbar Naqvi, a very amiable personality, a scholar of literature, former president of ISO Pakistan, the current deputy general secretary of the Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) and the President of Al-Basira Syed Saqib Akbar Naqvi at Jamia Imam-ul-Sadiq (a.s.).
The funeral prayer was performed under the leadership of Allama Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, Chairman MWM Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, the central leader of Shia Ulema Council Allama Shabbir Maithmi, Allama Arif Wahidi, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch, Head of Tehreek Ahl Haram Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naeemi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Muhammad Ali Hosseini, including various political, religious and social figures, attended by thousands of loved ones and relatives.
After performing the funeral prayers, the body of the deceased was moved to ShahAllah Ditta Town D-12 cemetery where he was laid to rest in the presence of hundreds of relatives.
