AhlulBayt News Agency: The Spanish ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Pedro Martinez, praised the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) threshold, and its services provided to visitors.
After meeting with the secretary-general; sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dea' Uddin, Mr. Martinez said "I was very happy to see so many people visiting this holy place, which embraces people of different religions and sects, and I was very impressed by the holy city of Karbala and its spiritual atmosphere".
"I have previously reviewed the story of the sacrifices made by Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Abbas (peace be upon them) in order to uphold humanitarian principles, and the greatness of these sacrifices is what makes people come to this holy place from all over the world," he added.
The Spanish ambassador praised the warm reception from the officials of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and also expressed his admiration for the aesthetic touch of the shrine that is added to its history, as well as the services it provides to visitors.
