AhlulBayt News Agency: The delegation of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discussed ways to serve and take care of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the state of Sierra Leone.
The director of the African Studies Center of the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that " the Center's delegation discussed with the Noorullah Women Foundation in Sierra Leone ways of joint cooperation to establish various intellectual, religious and humanitarian activities that contribute to the care of the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
"The representative of the Preaching Unit at the Center; Mr. Moslim al-Jaberi, met with Mr. Abdullah Bah from the Noorullah Women Foundation, and the official of the foundation, Mrs. Maryam Issa Jallo,"he added.
He pointed out that "the delegation's tour included a visit to the largest mosque in the Republic of Sierra Leone, which is located in its capital Freetown, and follow-up with those in charge of managing the activities and events adopted by it, in service of authentic Mohammedian Islam and spreading it in society".
Al-Shammari explained that "the visit to the mosque included competitions in memorizing the short Surat, honoring the winners, as well as a religious lecture at the primary and Secondary School in the Central Mosque, delivered by Mr. Moslim al-Jaberi".
