In the gathering, resolutions were presented to support the Islamic revolution and condemn the controversial amendments related to religious laws.
A large number of Imamia preachers from Sargodha region participated in the gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Allama Naqi Hashmi said that the Islamic revolution is a continuation of the movement of the prophets and the lovers of the revolution should consider themselves as a part of this movement and move forward.
Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Naqi Hashmi further said that the ummahs of different Prophets observed the same hadeeth in their time and the same Prophet’s uswa was in front of them, but we have seen the era of many divine saints in this age and their uswa were in front of them. So our responsibility is more in the same sense.
He further said that the country of Pakistan has all the potential and energy to become a superpower, but due to incompetent rulers, we are begging from door to door today.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Naqi Hashmi added, “Islamic Revolution in Iran is a true example of the teachings of Quran.
Speaking to the participants of the gathering, the second speaker, Syed Ibn Hassan Bukhari, said that the controversial Criminal Amendment Bill is part of a plan to impose religious interpretation on the country instead of the true interpretation of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
He said that since before the creation of Pakistan, Shia people are concerned about their rights.
He said that the rulers come up with a new religious agenda after some time to keep the Shia nation on the backfoot.
He further said that the concern expressed by Raja of Mehmoodabad Amir Haider Khan to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding Shia rights is still there today.
He added that the controversial change in the blasphemy law poses a serious threat to Shia identity and freedom of belief.
Addressing the gathering of Imamia preachers, the third preacher Hujatul Islam wal Muslimin Syed Javed Hussain Shirazi said that there is a difference among the ummah about the people who live in the company of the Prophet.
Imposing the history and beliefs of a single religion on controversial topics is reprehensible.
He further said that the standard of companionship in the religion of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) is to remain truthful and faithful for the whole life, for the oppressor, the transgressor and the sinner, the companionship of the Holy Prophet of Islam is useless.
He further said that in the religion of Ahl al-Bayt, the subject of Companionship is different from other sects.
He further said that there are tens of verses in the Qur’an in which some people who accompanied the Prophet (PBUH) have been severely condemned.
He said that if some of the Companions are praiseworthy, then some of them have been called those with bad hearts.
Hundreds of scholars and preachers from different areas of Sargodha region participated in this gathering of preachers of Imamia held at Khatam-ul-Anbia Complex Sargodha.
