AhlulBayt News Agency: Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed importance of family ties and chastity of men and women in view of Islam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking at “Fatemi Hijab and Chastity” conference held in Iran’s Western province of Kurdistan on Wednesday highlighted key role of women, family and elements boosting the bases of family ties.
He said the liberal school promoted by the west promoted immorality and illicit relationships and name that as freedom.
Top cleric said,” The world is endeavoring to promote liberalism as a countermeasure against the school of thought promoted by General Soleimani.”
The scholar slammed the west for no commitment to moral and human values which spread individualism.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari hailed the women in Kurdistan as a role model for chastity.
Conference on “Fatemi Hijab and Chastity” was held by deputy of women’s affairs at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Sanandaj.
A number of prominent women from Kurdistan province, religious and cultural figures from the western province of Kurdistan attended the meeting.
