AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Tuesday paid tribute to two of the martyrs of the Ukrainian plane crashed near Tehran in early 2020 as well as a member of Iranian security forces martyred in clashes with rioters which are known in the country as security martyrs.
As Iran nears the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei went to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran to pay tribute to the founder of the Islamic Republic as he does every year.
The Supreme Leader also went to the tombs of former Iranian president, prime minister, judiciary chief and other officials of the country who were martyred in two separate terrorist incidents some forty years ago.
Ayatollah Khamenei also payed tribute to anonymous martyrs and those martyred in the war in Syria, as well as health workers martyred in the fight against the coronavirus disease known in the country as health martyrs.
