AhlulBayt News Agency: World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a statement on Wednesday to denounce the desecration of holy Qur’an and Islamic sanctities as well as the support of the Swedish government for the heinous measure.
The statement has rejected the western governments over claims of defending the human rights which authorizes them to support extremist and far-right groups to commit any crime under the pretext of freedom of speech.
Major Islamic unity center in Iran expressed regret for the world to witness to another western-backed instance of racism and Islamophobia.
Part of the message by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought read,” Authorities in some European countries support the extremist agents in order to spark and promote hostility in the world by desecrating the Islamic sanctities and values.”
It also censured the European authorities for pursuit of Islamophobia as the futile ambition of Zionism.
“Shameful attack on holy book of Muslims is not justifiable under the pretext of freedom of speech nor any other deduction” concluded the message and added,” This amounts to an offensive insult to Abrahamic religions, heavenly inspirations and beliefs of millions of Muslims across the globe.” Qur’an is the heavenly book from Almighty God and a complementary book to other holy books respected by all monotheists across the world.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed its condemnation for the hateful crime in strongest terms demanding the international legal bodies and the European Union to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.
The statement has been issued following a Qur’an burning gathering held by Danish-Swedish far-right activist Rasmus Paludan in front of Turkish embassy in the capital Stockholm on Saturday.
