AhlulBayt News Agency: Allama Syed Hasnain Abbas Gurdizi, head of Majlis Ulema-e-Shia Pakistan, has said in his statement that we reject any sectarian bill that contradicts the basic principles of the Constitution of Pakistan and any such legislation is not allowed at all.

He said that in the Constitution of Pakistan, all religions and sects have been given full freedom and guarantee to live according to their basic religious principles, so every citizen has the right to worship without insulting the beliefs and ideas of others.

The practice can be done without any pressure and fear, but every day these bills based on biased and communal thinking are tried to be approved by the provincial assemblies and sometimes by the national assembly, which cannot be accepted at all.

It is of a very sensitive nature. There is a law containing matters which is passed by the National Assembly is a process based on haste and fear of finality.

He said that the country is already surrounded by so many problems and taking up such delicate and sensitive matters from above is totally unwise and stupid move which should be stopped immediately.

Everyone in Pakistan knows that a certain minded group gave fatwas of killing and disbelief, with which a deliberate conspiracy was made to disrupt the atmosphere of unity among all the religions and sects that have been living together for centuries.

The struggle to impose this bill is also ongoing which is completely rejected by every conscious citizen of this country, including the Majlis Ulemaa Shia Pakistan.
