AhlulBayt News Agency: Provincial President Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Allama Jahanzeb Ali Jafari has said in his statement released to the media that MWM rejects the Criminal Amendment Act 2021 approved by the National Assembly, which was amended and passed by the Assembly.

It does not clarify the definition of blasphemy and the limitations of which any person with a biased opinion can define and use it against the common people.

The religion of Islam does not allow insulting anyone on which everyone agrees. He said that the country’s economy and politics have been destroyed, the overall law and order situation is not encouraging and at the same time passing such a bill based on communal thinking is a very sad and unfair.

He further said that under the vague interpretations of this controversial law, innocent citizens will be targeted, which cannot be accepted in any way.

It will give an opportunity to banned outfits to grow and flourish, according to constitution every citizen was given the full right to worship and live according to his beliefs and ideas.

Unfortunately, efforts are being made to restrict under the guise of various partial laws. Therefore we appeal to the members of the upper house not to pass this law with vague and ambiguous interpretations.
