AhlulBayt News Agency: Bahrain's February 14 Youth Coalition, a major opposition group, underlined its dedication to the axis of resistance.
In a statement released on the third anniversary of the martyrdom of senior Iranian and Iraqi commanders Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the coalition said the massive participation of people in ceremonies held in honor of the two martyrs shows that their path and that of other martyrs of resistance continues.
The statement added that the coalition and the people of Bahrain remain steadfast in their commitment to the axis of resistance and are prepared to defend the causes of the Muslim Ummah, especially the Palestinian cause.
The coalition also underscored the need for confronting the global arrogance and the normalization plot, adding that it is categorically opposed to the presence of Zionists in Bahrain.
Lt. General Soleimani, who was the commander of the IRGC Quds Force, Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Deputy Commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were assassinated in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3, 2020.
Various programs were held in Iran, Iraq and a number of other countries in recent weeks to commemorate the popular commanders.
