AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The President stated that the commemoration ceremony of Martyr Soleimani and the martyrs of the resistance and the huge attendance of the people in this ceremony is not an ordinary ceremony and attendance, and stated, "This ceremony is a message to all free men and women of the world that they should stand up against arrogance and oppression".
Speaking on Tuesday afternoon at an immense public gathering on the occasion of the third anniversary of the martyrdom of General Soleimani in Tehran's Grand Mosque, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi honoured the memory of the martyrs of the resistance, and at the head of them, Martyr Soleimani, as the heroes of the fight against terrorism and global arrogance, and said, "Honouring the memory of the martyr Soleimani is a glorification of all goodness, kindness and sincerity, and declaration of hatred and aversion to oppression, arrogance and domination".
The President added, "This ceremony and the huge presence of people is not a normal celebration and attendance, but a message to all free men and women of the world that they should stand up and resist arrogance and oppression to block the way of oppressors and the Arrogant".
Dr Raisi stated, "Honouring the martyrs of the resistance and especially our dear martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani is a message to all the oppressors and the Arrogant of the world to know that they are facing decline and destruction and what remains in this field are the people who want change and love of God, right-seeking and justice-seeking".
The President continued by stating that Martyr Soleimani's martyrdom brought both sadness and hope to us, and clarified, "On the one hand, we are very afflicted and saddened that we have lost our proud general and an advocate of the Revolution and our dear Islamic homeland, but on the other hand, we are very proud that a personality not only in the stature of the Iranian nation but also in the stature of the Islamic world, who thought and acted for the freedom of the nations, reached the lofty position of martyrdom on this path".
Referring to the very important issue of self-improvement and divine piety in the life of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the President said, "It was love for God and Ahl al-Bayt (AS) that made Martyr Soleimani a self-made man".
Ayatollah Raisi said, "Martyr Soleimani's school was in line with the school of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Imam Khamenei, and these two schools are also in line with the school of Imam Hossein's Ashura".
Ayatollah Raisi clarified, "Martyr Soleimani's actions in the field were unique actions. Structuring in the field and the growth of resistance forces in the region from Sunni, Shiite, Muslim, Christian, Yazidi, Lebanese, Palestinian, Yemeni, Syrian, Iranian and Afghan were among his significant achievements".
The President continued, "For Martyr Soleimani, there was no difference between these forces and only one point was central, and that was to ward off evil and corruption".
Dr Raisi pointed out, "Contrary to what some people said that Martyr Soleimani sought to make the region Shiite, he sought to remove the root of oppression, corruption and evil from the region".
Ayatollah Raisi stated that we saw the most prominent manifestation of this feeling of brotherhood and closeness in the indescribable presence of people in the great funeral ceremony of Martyr Soleimani's body, adding, "He was and still is a symbol of unity and solidarity".
Dr Raisi said, "He defeated the United States and the supporters of the terrorist movement and ISIS in the region, but his greatest work was to defeat the American hegemony in the world".
Dr Raisi stated that the Americans and the Arrogance seek to de-identify the nations, they want to make the nations and the youth defenceless and disarmed and instil their desired identity into the nations, and clarified, "Martyr Soleimani was a personality who was both an identity builder and an Islamic identity revivalist. He created and established an identity not only for the dear people of Iran but also for the region. He stood with all his might so that people do not forget their Iraqi, Syrian, Iranian, Afghan, Yemeni, Muslim and Christian identity and to know that what determines their personality and dignity is the identity of a human being".
Dr Raisi addressed America and the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and emphasised, "We tell you, just as General Soleimani stood against your extravagances, atrocities and unjustified arrogance yesterday and created resistance in the region, even today Martyr Soleimani will stand against you with that high spirit and love and affection of his young people until the end".
Referring to the promise of revenge for the blood of Martyr Soleimani by the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC on the day of the martyrdom of Haj Qasem, the President stated, "Allow me to announce today through you and all the resistant and warrior forces in the world that we have not forgotten and will avenge the blood of Martyr Soleimani and let them know that the promise of revenge is certain and that we will not let the murderers and perpetrators of this crime sleep easy".
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "You have repeatedly miscalculated when facing this nation. Again, we declare that you should know the great nation of Iran correctly and do not compare it with the people of some other countries and also the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the normal systems of the world".
Referring to the defeat of the enemies in all conspiracies and seditions against the Iranian nation, the President said, "After the failure in the military war, you launched a cyber, media, political and economic war against the Iranian nation, and as in the Battle of the Trench, you brought all your power to the field, and you used all your strength and capacity, but you saw how the great nation of Iran defeated you with the example of the martyr of resistance Haj Qasem Soleimani and by listening to the guidance of our wise leader".
Dr Raisi said, "In the cyber war, you tried to shut down all gas stations in the country in one day in order to bring the Iranian nation along with you, in the media war, you lined up all your media for psychological operations against the Iranian nation, in the political war, you used all your capacities in international organisations against the Iranian nation and in the economic war you tried to influence the gold and currency market by creating numbers in social networks in the cyberspace, but today the message of this huge population and similar populations across the country is that you have lost all these wars and you will lose in other ones as well".
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "Despite all the threats and sanctions to stop the country, we are moving and progressing in the field of oil and non-oil trade and export, as well as other economic sectors of the country, and we will never stop".
In another part of his speech, while praising the spirit of the family of Martyr Soleimani, in an effort to give this noble martyr status to the entire nation of Iran, the Islamic Community and all the free people of the world, Ayatollah Raisi said, "This attitude and spirit is one of the honours of this noble family".
Ayatollah Raisi stressed, "Be sure that this country is progressing, be sure that the future will be much brighter than today, be sure that with the grace of God and with the guidance of the Supreme Leader, with reliance on the great capacities of this country, the presence and participation of you people and the service of the government, all the problems will be solved".
In the end, the President saluted the souls of all the martyrs of the resistance and honoured the memory of all of them, especially the martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and other companions and martyrs who accompanied the martyr Soleimani.
