AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Stockholm held a commemoration service on Sunday on the 3rd martyrdom anniversary of the brave commanders of Islam, Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandes.
Ambassador Ahmad Masoumifar in an address in the event referred to the outstanding personality traits of martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandes, also referred to some of the braveries, altruism of Martyr Soleimani in campaign against terrorist groups, and especially against Daesh (the ISIS).
On the sidelines of the commemoration service there was also an exhibition on the cultural works related to the school of thought of Martyr Soleimani, some of which were gifted to the visitors.
Martyred Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Deputy Chief of Iraq's popular forces, Hashd al-Shaabi Abu Mahi al-Mohandas along with 8 other of their companion warrior forces, who were on Friday, January 3, 2020, on an official visit to Iraq at an invitation of the Iraqi government, were martyred by the fire of US drones of Pentagon, under the direct command of the US president of the time, Donald Trump.
