AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): By sending a message to Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholics, the President congratulated him and all followers of Christianity on the arrival of the birthday of Jesus Christ (PBUH) and the beginning of the year 2023.
In his New Year's message to the leader of the world's Catholics, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the verses of the Holy Qur'an in Maryam Chapter about the exalted position of Jesus Christ in the Qur'an and his words about empathy and true freedom, and expressed hope that in the new year, with the help of the precious teachings of divine prophets including Jesus Christ and perseverance in the path of divine values, human happiness will be realised and a world full of justice and empathy will be created among nations.
