AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Bahrain's top Shia cleric, Sheikh Isa Qassim reiterated the continuation of the path of Jihad and reform in the Arab country.
The senior figure made the remark, which was posted on his official Twitter account, on the occasion of the Martyr’s Day.
The Martyr’s Day is a day for noble thinkers to renew the pledge to continue the path of Jihad in order for reform and evolution, he said.
Ayatollah Qassem added that it reminds everyone that martyrdom on the path of God is the greatest, noblest and most valuable achievement one can make in life.
He also highlighted the importance of commemorating the Martyr’s Day as a symbol of raising generations based on the love for martyrdom on the path of God.
The Martyr’s Day is commemorated in tiny Persian Gulf island country every year on December 17.
The day honors the martyrdom of two Shia men during the 1994 uprising against the Al Khalifa regime.
