Iranian Judiciary's Deputy Chief for International Affairs and Secretary General of the Islamic Republic of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, Kazem Gharibabadi blasted a UN resolution that terminated Iran’s membership in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Judiciary's Deputy Chief for International Affairs and Secretary General of the Islamic Republic of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, Kazem Gharibabadi blasted a UN resolution that terminated Iran’s membership in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

It is a bitter irony that the US regime presents itself as a supporter and defender of the rights of Iranian women and girls, the US with its all-out support for the assassination of thousands of Iranian women and children by the terrorist groups, imposed cruel and brutal sanctions with irreparable effects, especially on women and children, Gharibabadi wrote on his twitter account.

He added in his tweet that And the all-round support for the killing of Iranian women and children by the Saddam regime during the imposed war has shown that the only thing that the US does not think about is the rights of women and girls, and behind its false and hypocritical statements and statements, the only interests and goals it pursues is inhumane and anti-human rights.

On Wednesday, the UN adopted the US-pushed resolution ending Iran’s CSW membership with 29 votes in favor and 16 abstentions. Eight countries voted against the resolution.
