AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Stating that the peace and security of our cities today is the blessing of the blood of dear young people who stood up against the rioters' onslaught, the President said, "Although the loss of them is very difficult for us, the achievement of their pure blood was the disappointment of the enemy".
On Thursday evening in the ceremony of honouring the families of the security defender martyrs, which was held at the Presidential Compound's Salman Mosque, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed his condolences on the martyrdom days of H.H. Fatimah Zahra (PBUH), the first martyr of defending the guardianship, and described the martyrs who defended the security as her righteous followers".
Referring to the defeat of the enemies in the eight-year war and also their failure in the conspiracies of the last forty years, the President stated, "The enemy intended to attack the values, the Islamic Revolution and the people in a combined war and a new conspiracy, but the vigilant children of the nation stood against this attack".
Dr Raisi added, "The enemies wanted to implement the prescription that they had implemented in some countries in Islamic Iran with hollow and deceptive slogans, unaware that here are brave men, women and young people who are standing by the Revolution and their values and country with a sense of responsibility".
The President said, "The enemy targeted the Revolution and the people in the recent ISIS-like events and displayed the utmost enmity, hatred, and malice towards the value stream and the revolution front".
Ayatollah Raisi said, "Today, if the situation in our cities is calm and we are safe, it is thanks to the blood of dear young people who stood up against the rioters. Although the grief of their loss is very difficult for us, but the achievement of their pure blood was the despair of the enemy".
Stating that the martyrs lived as martyrs before their martyrdom, the President clarified, "All aspects of the martyrs' enlightened lives are full of goodness and blessings, and martyrdom was the peak of their way".
Ayatollah Raisi said, "The passage of time will show more the effects and blessings of the blood of the martyrs".
Dr Raisi considered the enlightenment and de-ignorance of the society to be the result of the blood of the martyrs and added, "Today, the enemy's media empire is trying to distort the facts by staging and lying, but the blood of the martyrs neutralised their poisoned propaganda and conspiracies and brought awareness to the society".
Referring to the double standards of the enemies in supporting terrorism and claiming to support the people, the President said, "Today, the enemies of the Iranian nation are chanting "life" for our people, but on the other side, the perpetrators of the war with weapons in their hands in the shrine of Shahcheragh killed a 10-year-old child and his parents".
The President added, "They claimed democracy in Afghanistan, but the result of the troop deployment to this country was 35 thousand disabled children and they destroyed all the houses and cities, and they still claim that we give life! Which people in the world have they given life to?"
