AhlulBayt News Agency: The Head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, Sheikh Raed Salah, has stressed that the Israeli plots to seize control of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have become explicit.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Sheikh Salah said that the Israeli plans aim at Judaizing Jerusalem and its historical and religious landmarks.
Sheikh Salah affirmed that the Israeli plots against the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be foiled despite the ongoing Israeli violations at the holy site, hailing the solidarity and support for Palestinians voiced by the Arab and Islamic nations at Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers have been escalating their break-ins into the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of the Jewish holidays.
The Jewish temple mount groups plan to launch massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 18th of December to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
Meanwhile, Palestinian activists have been calling on Palestinians to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa to protect it against Israeli desecration.
