AhlulBayt News Agency: Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied al-Quds on Tuesday morning and later in the afternoon.
According to al-Qastal News website, at least 188 settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police guard.
A number of settlers also performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.
The daily desecration of the Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers and police forces is part of the Israeli occupation authority’s attempts to divide the holy site temporally and spatially between Muslims and Jews.
Meanwhile, Israeli police officers detained three Palestinian women during their presence at the Aqsa Mosque and expelled them from it through al-Asbat Gate, according to al-Qastal News.
Police officers also assaulted and arrested a Palestinian young man as he was walking in the Mosque's courtyards.
Another young man was reportedly arrested by the police at the Shuafat checkpoint in the northeast of al-Quds.
