AhlulBayt News Agency: A Palestinian young man martyred of a serious bullet injury on Wednesday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin.
According to local medical sources, 25-year-old Mohamed Badarneh was killed when Israeli troops fired live ammunition at him as they were encircling a house in Ya’bad town.
Badarneh was pronounced dead at a local hospital after he suffered a fatal injury in his chest, the medical sources added.
Earlier, local sources said that two young men suffered from bullet injuries during the same IOF raid on the town.
Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers in the town.
Several soldiers reportedly encircled the house of an ex-detainee called Abdul-Ghani Herzallah as others positioned themselves on rooftops of nearby homes before kidnaping him.
During the events, the IOF prevented Palestinian ambulances from entering the town, according to local sources.
