AhlulBayt News Agency: Sheikh Najeh Bakirat, head of the Aqsa Academy for Science and Heritage, has stressed that all the Israeli practices against the al-Quds citizens will never dissuade them from defending and protecting the Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement on Friday, Sheikh Bakirat accused the Israeli occupation state of trying to impose new faits accomplis at the Aqsa Mosque through enabling extremist Jewish settlers to escalate their violations against it.
The al-Quds official also warned that the occupation state seeks to end the Muslim presence at the Aqsa Mosque and impose its full control over the holy site.
Yesterday, tens of thousands of Palestinian citizens observed the Friday khutba (sermon) and prayer at the Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli police measures that restricted the entry of many Muslim worshipers to the holy site.
