AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The police commander of Sistan and Baluchistan province announced the martyrdom of a soldier in Zahedan city.
A few hours ago, the Cheshmeh Ziarat police station in Zahedan was on patrol when armed mercenaries in a car started shooting at the police officers.
After the attack, the armed criminals quickly fled the scene, but soldier Behzad Barahoei was martyred and Lieutenant Mehdi Hashem Zehi was also injured.
Earlier on November 3, the unidentified armed men killed a Shia cleric in charge of daily prayers at a mosque in Iran's Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
Cleric Shahraki had been shot in the head and chest and had succumbed to his wounds despite being transferred to the hospital.
