Ahlulbayt News Agency: A delegation from the Kadhemiyah Center for heritage revival of the Kadhemiyah holy shrine visited the Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
The director of the center; Sheikh Dr. Imad al-Kadhemi, said that "the center seeks to establish a special museum at the Kadhemiyah holy shrine, and in order to benefit from the theoretical and practical aspects, we decided to visit the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine and the Al-Kafeel Museum in particular, because of the depth and antiquity of this museum, and the ongoing cooperation between the two holy shrines".
"I did not imagine when I visited the Al-Kafeel museum that there were such precious treasures representing the history of Iraq on the one hand, and the heritage of the sect on the other, it is a pride for all of us," he added.
Sheikh al-Kadhemi praised the efforts of the museum staff, their welcoming and warm reception, wishing them all the best.
The Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts is witnessing from time to time many visits by various delegations from inside and outside Iraq, because of its antiquities of great historical and cultural value.
