AhlulBayt News Agency: The Secretary General of Wifaq-ul-maddaris Shia of Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Afzal Haidari, has appreciated the government’s initiative to withdraw the appeals against the Federal Sharia Court’s decision to end the usury system.
He said that interest system is equivalent to war against Allah and his Prophet Muhammad (SAW). With the Islamic banking system, war with Allah and His Messenger will end and obedience to the Qur’an will begin.
This is a good news for the nation. There is a need to take practical steps to implement the Islamic banking system.
He said that the usurious system is the cause of the destruction of the economy. Islamic banking will establish a partnership system, in which the economy will run on the basis of profit and loss.
In the name of usury, what was being forbidden, the people will avoid it and eat halal. Now the government should take practical steps for the implementation of Islamic banking, for which the
Wifaq-ul-maddaris Shia Pakistan is also ready to offer its services.
