AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Zahedan Sunni Friday prayer leader Abdul-Hamid Esmail-Zehi on Sunday evening met and conferred with Supreme Leader's dispatched representative to the province.
In the meeting in the presence of the representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchestan province and some Sunni clerics and professors, the recent events in the province were reviewed.
The Supreme Leader's dispatched representative to the province Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Javad Haj Ali-Akbari heading a delegation arrived in Zahedan on behalf of the Supreme Leader.
Haj Ali-Akbari is supposed to present the Supreme Leader's ideas aimed at resolving the people's problems with the elderly folks and various groups in the province.
He is also scheduled to meet the injured victims of the recent events in the province.
Haj Ali-Akbari, the dispatched representative of the Supreme Leader who is also the head of the Friday Imams' Policymaking Council, said in the meeting with Zahedan Sunni Friday prayer Imam Abdul-Hamid Esmail-Zehi, "The martyrs of the defenders of country's security sacrificed their lives to safeguard the flag of the Islamic Iran."
Also, in a meeting with the families of the martyrs and wounded victims of the province, Hojjatoleslam Haj Ali-Akbari said, "Martyrs and martyrdom has now become a part of our society's culture."
The Supreme Leader's dispatched representative further reiterated that in the process of shape-taking of the Islamic Revolution and after its victory during the years of the Sacred Defense (the Iraqi-imposed war during Saddam's reign), and after its victory, the martyrs defended it wherever and whenever it was necessary to safeguard the country and the values of the Islamic Revolution.
"Our martyrs sacrificed their lives to safeguard the Islamic homeland, and now if the martyrs' families will continue the path and way of the martyrs and the late Imam Khomeini, they will on the doomsday be benefitted from the same divine blessings as the martyrs," he added.
The Zahedan Sunni Friday prayer Imam Abdul-Hamid Esmail-Zehi who was also present at the meeting is the host of the Supreme Leader's representative in this visit.
