AhlulBayt News Agency: The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala held the first specialized international scientific conference in artificial intelligence and smart computing, under the auspices of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) and the media and Communications Authority.
The president of the University of Karbala; Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil al-Saidi, "these specialized scientific conferences provide ideas for organizing various institutions and sectors of the state in order to serve the human being".
"Researchers from various universities participated in the conference with (78) scientific researches, (50) of them participated in the conference, which is distributed between local and international research," he added.
In turn, the dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and the chairman of the preparatory committee for the Conference Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd al-Hadi Ahmed, that "the conference included five themes focused on the most important computer sciences, and is the first of its kind at the University with the scientific support of the (IEEE) Foundation, which adopted the publication of winning research in its library within the scopes".
