AhlulBayt News Agency: President of the Wifaq Ul Madaris Pakistan, Allama Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi, Secretray General Allama Muhammad Afzal Haidari and VP Allama Mureed Hussain Naqvi expressed their grief over the death of the well-known Kashmiri leader Maulana Muhammad Abbas Ansari and declared it as a great loss.
In his condolence statement, he said that Maulana Muhammad Abbas Ansari was a very moderate, dynamic religious scholar and a strong voice of the subjugated people under Indian rule in Occupied Kashmir.
He was devoted to inter-Muslim unity. He was also the chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and played a prominent role in the Kashmiri movement for independence from India.
The leaders said that Maulana Abbas Ansari exposed Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir to the world and kept this voice alive throughout his life.
He said that with the death of Maulana Abbas Ansari, the world of Islam has lost a great mujahid, religious and political figure. We pray to Allah to raise the ranks of the deceased.
