AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An international conference on Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) is planned to be held in the northeastern Iranian holy city of Mashhad early next year.
The Khorasan Razavi branch of Al-Mustafa International University will organize the scholarly event, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Saleh, the head of the branch said.
He said 136 papers have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference so far and 10 preparatory meetings as well as workshops have also been held.
According to the cleric, 20 seminary and academic institutions are cooperating in the organization of the conference.
He said the studying the currents in the Fiqh of education, educational capacities of Fiqh and its role in objectives, stages, methods, factors and obstacles to education will be discussed at the conference.
The participants will also investigate different Fiqh rules in areas such as Hijab, promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, governance and Wilayat Faqih, Khums and Zakat, marriage and divorce, etc, he added.
The conference is going to consider various aspects of Fiqh in ethical, political, family, economic, physical, emotional, … areas, Hojat-ol-Islam Saleh went on to say.
Al-Mustafa International University is a religious and Islamic university established to expand and introduce Islamic and religious teachings in the world through modern facilities and technologies.
It is a scholarly and educational institution that like other such institutions strives to develop thought and help society and humanity.
It is known internationally and has trained many prominent scholars and researchers.
