AhlulBayt News Agency: Deputy of communication department at Mohammadia Society in Indonesia emphasized peace as important message of Islam for world people calling on Muslims to show their willingness to establish peace.
Seif Mohammad Moghni, on the sideline of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference highlighted the peaceful teachings of Islam and expressed concern over the conflicts across Muslim world.
He said,” To convey the message of peace to world people is very important because all around us is war.”
He highlighted importance of justice as prerequisite for peace and said,” In order to create peace, we should first guarantee justice for all people.”
Indonesian scholar praised the International Islamic Unity Conference held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and said,” It is important that the message of the conference could be delivered to each country in order to strengthen solidarity among Muslims.”
“Takfir is not a part of Islamic attitude” stressed Seif Mohammad Moghni and added,” We should fully understand Islamic teachings so that there is no space for takfir (excommunication).”
He also underlined the role of youths and the social media in promoting tolerance, peace and justice.”
Muhammadiyah Society is a major Islamic non-governmental organization in Indonesia. Founded in 1912 by Ahmad Dahlan, Muhammadiyah Society was considered the second largest Islamic organization in Indonesia with 29 million members and devoted itself to social and educational activities.
