AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): About a week before Arbaeen day, the Mawkib of the Ashura International Foundation was set up and began its activities in front of pillar No. 833 on Tariq Ya Hussain (a.s.) (the main Najaf-Karbala Road).
On September 17, 2022, on the march of people who missed the Arbaeen pilgrimage in Iraq, the Ashura International Foundation set up a Mawkib in Tehran.
In this Mawkib various cultural services offered to the marchers such as, eulogy and praising (for AhlulBayt), mourning for AhlulBayt, distribution of pilgrimage letters, as well as distribution of free water, dinks, herbal tea, free shoe polishing, and the performance of hymn.
The focal point of this ceremony was the blessed flag of the holy dome of Imam Hussain (a.s.), which was placed in this Mawkib which was brought from Karbala. Attending the Foundation’s Mawkib, thousands of participants in the march of the Remainders (those who missed or couldn’t participate in Arbaeen Great Walk of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Iraq) in Tehran, sought blessings from this flag and perfumed themselves with the soulful perfume of Imam Hussain (a.s.).
It is worth mentioning that the Ashura International Foundation also set up a Mawkib in Iraq on the main road of Najaf-Karbala (also known as Tariq Ya Hussain) during the Arbaeen pilgrimage and provided cultural and welfare services to the Arbaeen pilgrims.
