Photos: March on demise anniversary of Prophet (p.b.u.h) in Najaf towards Imam Ali (a.s.) hoy shrine

The 28th day of Lunar month of Safar, the demise anniversary of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan (a.s.), is a special day for pilgrimage of Imam Ali (a.s.). On this day millions of Iraqis from different cities of the country come to Najaf for the pilgrimage. Millions of these people, like in Arbaeen Great Walk, come on foot to Najaf from their cities. People of Najaf and Kufa setting up Mowkebs, similar to the Mowkebs of Arbaeen, welcome and serve these pilgrims.
