Cultural Affairs of al-Abbas shrine celebrates birth of Holy Prophet, Imam Sadeq in Cameroon

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine celebrated the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammad and his grandson Imam al-Sadeq (may Allah's prayers be upon them all) through a ceremony held in Cameroon in the presence of the leader of the sect; Sayed Hassan Sanko.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine celebrated the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammad and his grandson Imam al-Sadeq (may Allah's prayers be upon them all) through a ceremony held in Cameroon in the presence of the leader of the sect; Sayed Hassan Sanko.

This activity is supervised by the African Studies Center of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the celebration witnessed a number of diverse events that dealt with the thought and methodology of authentic Muhammadian Islam and the biography of the life of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)".

"The celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Great Prophet(Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in Cameroon was attended by a group of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as well as the presence of the leader of the sect in Cameroon; Sayed Hassan Sanko, and a number of preachers and tribal figures in Cameroonian society," he added.

Al-Shammari added that "the African Studies Center of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, held a banquet for those present in love and honor of the occasion".
