AhlulBayt News Agency: Member of Turkey’s Felicity (Saadat) Party, Hasan Bitmez, warned of the current issues across the globe and world of Islam and highlighted solidarity among Muslims as the main and absolute necessity for Islamic nation.

Speaking at the webinar on the second day of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference, Turkish intellectual underscored unity as the absolute necessity across the world of Islam.

He stressed the dire need for ending wars and giving  value and power to reconciliation and expressed regret over unjust wars ignited due to patronage of Zionism, imperialist support and capitalist mercenaries.

Turkish thinker expressed regret that Muslims are constantly in the position of the defeated party because the imperialist goals, capitalist interests and Zionist terrorism are prevalent.

He called Islam the religion of equality, brotherhood, dynamism and reconciliation calling on all Muslims to prepare the ground for realization of Islamic unity not leaving the scene for projecting Muslims as the defeated nation.

Hasan Bitmez warned of an era when the human society, Islamic society and Muslims are all targeted and the wars against man’s nature, belief, sanctities and society is increasing saying,” They are pushing the world and humanity to fall victims to unjust and unfair wars. Man is targeted by disease, hunger, terror, immorality, injustice and poverty; and there are evil intentions to shove the world to turn into ruins and waste. The need for human participation, Islam, faith and fairness has reached its peak.”

Turkish political figure also urged Muslims to take appropriate action for showing true Islam.

He noted that Islam should be recognized and accepted as an intellectual and innate background that unites all Muslims, boosts their unity and institutionalizes it.

According to the Turkish thinker Islamic unity is the institutionalized form of Islamic brotherhood and the absolute duty of each Muslim is not to be a servant to Zionism; not to be a mercenary for imperialism, and not to be a laborer for capitalism.

There is an Organization of Islamic Cooperation, but there is no cooperation among them. Because of this, countless people and Muslims in the world have become oppressed, defeated and sad.

He expressed regret that although there is an Islamic Development Bank, there is no common development plan, as a result of which, Islamic countries are in the swamp of debt and the spiral of big profits and in a state of poverty.

“The regions where the Islamic countries are situated, there are underground wealth and reserves; but regrettably, there is high inflation, high rate of unemployment and lack of confidence for the future, in the Islamic countries” he continued.

Turkish thinker proposed establishment of the Organization of Military Cooperation of Islamic Countries in its true sense, for the unification of Islamic power and also establishment of the scientific and cultural cooperation organization of Islamic countries in order to present the Islamic civilization to the minds of contemporary people.

He vowed realization of Islamic unity when Muslims, in particular, and humans in general, will be liberated from terror, oppression, injustice, colonialism, poverty and deprivation created by falsehood.

Hasan Bitmez made the comments in his speech on the second day of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference underway as more than 150 Shia and Sunni scholars, professors and thinkers from across the globe are attending the 36th Inernational Islamic Unity Conference held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought as they exchange views on the theme of " Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict inthe Islamic World."
